Haven of Hope Orphanage

We are so thankful that many people think about the HOH staff and kids and send cards and small gifts through the mail.  It is so exciting to receive these greetings and gifts.   

Unfortunately, our mail service is not as reliable as it could be.  One of the frequent questions many of you ask is, "Did you receive the card I sent?"  Many of the cards are received but some incoming and outgoing mail does not reach the intended recipient, or if it does, often the packages are opened.    We also face the cost of customs charges for any gifts that are sent here through the mail and sometimes a delivery fee.

Praise God, there is an option.   One of our partner ministries, Seeds of Dignity Ministries, ships several boxes to the Philippines each month.  They have agreed to send items to us through the balikbayan boxes that they send.  Normally, it takes 5-6 weeks to receive a box sent by them, which isn't so different from the timing of the items that are sent through regular mail.  It also will be less expensive for you to send and for us to receive.
